VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES

Horizon Health, Inc. has many volunteer opportunities for anyone who wants to volunteer! We offer volunteering opportunities to help preserve independence through transportation, homemaking/chores, friendly visiting and help to provide relief to caregivers who just need some time to themselves. Volunteering is a way to stay active in the community and to help those who need help. Volunteering keeps us active physically and emotionally healthy, as well as gives back to those who gave so much in their community. 

FAITH IN ACTION

FIA (Faith in Action) Faith in Action is a network of volunteers who provide nonprofessional volunteer assistance to seniors and family caregivers free of charge to members of our community. Whether it's taking someone to a medical appointment, grocery shopping, friendly visiting, or building a ramp to make it easier to get in and out of a home, our FIA volunteers are an asset to our community! Contact our Volunteer Department to volunteer! 

Our team of volunteers helps friends and neighbors over 60 years old live independently with dignity and self–respect at home. In 2018, 55 Faith in Action volunteers helped over 240 residents of Morrison County stay living independently in their home with just a little help.

Hospice Volunteers

Hospice Volunteers offer time and valuable services to the Horizon Health Hospice Program. As a member of the Hospice team, Hospice Volunteers provide services to patients and their families with terminal illness and/or provide administrative support to the Hospice Program.
